These insoles are by far the best that I have found for motion control. They provide strong arch support to correct severe over-pronation whilst retaining flexibility and very good heel cushioning. The arch support is rigid but covered with a cushioned insole which ensures a friction free ride. Other similar insoles have caused blisters on the sole of the foot because of a ridge at the edge of the arch support. However, with the Graphite insoles I have remained blister free for many miles. These insoles are better than my custom made orthotics (and £300 cheaper!). My podiatrist was unfamiliar with this insole and very impressed with its design. I suffer badly with bouts of plantar fasciitis and have worn orthotics for ~20 years and these insoles give me all the necessary support and cause no discomfort. I highly recommend this insole and would advise runners with severe over pronation problems to try it before resorting to (often very expensive!) custom made orthotics.
Having tried them in both trainers and normal casual shoes, you certainly can feel the difference. My feet definatley dont over pronate as much now which is thanks to the graphite, however the adhesive which is used to attach it to the actual insole could be stronger.
Also i dont recommend this for running shoes as it feels a little perculiar, most running shoes have soles designed to control the motion of your feet anyways so this added to it feels weird.
Best Recommendation: Put them casual wear, especially going out shoes which have little to no protection at all, makes night life activities a whole lot more comfortable.
